Customer Service Representative in Fresno, California

Description We are searching for a Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fresno, California. This role involves managing customer queries in a high-volume call center environment. This is a short-term contract position that requires a strong command of outbound customer service skills.

Responsibilities: • Handle a significant volume of outbound calls daily while maintaining a positive and detail oriented demeanor. • Proficiently utilize computer systems, including Excel, Email, and Teams, to manage customer interactions. • Maintain punctuality and focus on tasks throughout the workday. • Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and accurately. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account activity. • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit record Requirements • Minimum of one year experience in a customer service role, preferably within the insurance industry

• Proficient in call center customer service operations

• Demonstrated ability to resolve customer service issues effectively

• Experience in a heavily-outbound call center environment is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work under pressure and handle customer complaints

• High school diploma or equivalent; higher degree in a relevant discipline will be appreciated

• Knowledge of customer service software, databases, and CRM tools

• Ability to work in a team and build positive relationships

• Patience when handling tough cases

• Willingness to continually improve customer service skills and industry knowledge.
