Description We are offering a role in the industry of customer service, located in Black Mountain, North Carolina, 28711, United States. This is a short-term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative. The role requires an individual with exceptional skills in customer service and data entry, and will be based in an office setting.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in the town of Black Mountain, providing excellent customer service and resolving inquiries.
• Handle various forms of payment, including cash, debit, and checks for services such as parking tickets and water bills.
• Accurately input customer data into the computer system.
• Handle inbound calls and respond to email correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
• Deescalate any situations where customers may be upset or angry.
• Maintain a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Suites, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Schedule appointments and manage customer accounts as needed.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Utilize excellent people skills to foster positive relationships with customers. Requirements • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls in a busy call center environment
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality customer service
• Proven experience with data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Familiarity with email correspondence and the ability to craft professional, clear, and concise emails
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Experience with order entry processes and systems
• Ability to schedule appointments efficiently, balancing the needs of the company and the customer
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; higher education or certifications a plus.
