Customer Service Representative in Ann Arbor, Michigan

Description We are in search of a Customer Service Representative ready to contribute to our team in ANN ARBOR, Michigan. This role is ideal for those adept at providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be tasked with managing office procedures, resolving customer inquiries, and maintaining customer records. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert knowledge of company policies, practices, and procedures to customers

• Greet and verify the identification of customers

• Register customers and prepare their scorecards

• Digitally scan and record customer identification when necessary

• Monitor customers as they complete tasks

• Address and resolve customer issues promptly

• Ensure the security of all computer software in the office at all times

• Conduct regular system reboots and password resets as needed

• Report any incidents that do not align with company guidelines to management

• Adapt to scheduling changes based on company capacity requirements

• Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service or a related role

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to handle stressful situations and remain calm under pressure

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet

• Proficient in the use of computer systems and software relevant to the role

• Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on empathy and building customer relationships

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education in a relevant field is a plus

• Knowledge of customer service best practices and customer service software is a plus

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
