Role Summary

The Customer Service Coordinator will set up and monitor customer delivery information in CMS (ERP) system. With the goal of a customer delivery rating of 100%, the Customer Service Coordinator will be the main point of contact for all communication related to delivery schedules.

*The successful candidate for this role will work at our new Magna Structures Heart Lake facility located in Brampton, ON*

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, monitor and maintain all customer delivery information in CMS

  • Communicate with customer to resolve issues that could impact delivery rating

  • Work flexible hours to ensure timely communication with customers via customer managed portals such as Covisint and Ford DDL

  • Be the voice of the customer internally, communicating the shipment schedule requirement and ensure adherence

  • Maintain daily inventory and cycle count adjustment

  • Daily loading of releases, into the ERP software

  • Maintain and arrange, all routing instructions, routers and expedites, as required

  • Maintain MRP data integrity

  • Validate and adjust weekly release to suppliers

  • Maintain production control contact with all assigned customers and suppliers, as required

  • Monitor customer systems

  • Communicate with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered as required

  • Lean Manufacturing and 5S concepts awareness and adherence

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and workplace safety

  • Work with finance to resolve disputes and outstanding payments

  • Team Player with other departments

  • Perform other duties as may be required

Key Qualifications/Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, post-secondary program an asset

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience working in a shipping / production environment

  • Experience with MRP, CMS, and other inventory programs

  • Knowledge of production planning process in an automotive manufacturing environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Problem solving skills such as 8D, 5 Why, Parrado analysis would be a definite asset
