Job Summary

Under supervision, provides front-line support to prospective, current, and former students, as well as faculty and staff for the Blue and Gold Central (BGC), which includes Financial Aid, Business Office, Admissions and Registrar. This role ensures the delivery of excellent customer service and administrative support to facilitate smooth operations and student success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist prospective, current, and former students, as well as faculty and staff in the Blue and Gold Central (BGC), by providing information and answering questions related to enrollment and general university services.

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication platforms, providing clear and accurate information about university policies, procedures and programs, including enrollment services and upcoming events.

  • Assist students with applying for admission, financial aid, and registration, guiding them through online processes and resolving issues related to applications, enrollment status, and financial aid.

  • Review and process student records and documents for accuracy, compliance, and completeness and ensure that they are routed to the appropriate departments.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in databases, ensuring follow-up with prospective and current students and maintaining communication results for both inbound and outbound inquiries this includes resolving data errors and issues.

  • Ensure University compliance with Federal and State educational laws, guidelines, and reporting requirements as they relate to academic records.

  • Investigate and research customer complaints and participates in problem resolution.

Minimum Requirements

Education – High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience – Three years of related experience.

Knowledge of – Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.

Ability to – Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service skills and detail oriented.
