Crown Princess Mary Scholarship (for study in Tasmania)

The University of Tasmania invites our partner universities in Denmark to each nominate one student to receive the annual Crown Princess Mary Scholarship. Up to four scholarships are offered for study commencing in Semester 1 of each year. You are encouraged to nominate a highly competent student who has shown a particular interest in studying at the University of Tasmania.

Eligibility

The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship is open to undergraduate and postgraduate students in all areas of studies offered at the University of Tasmania. The Selection Committee’s decision will be based on the academic merit of applicants, their extra curricular activities, motivation for studying in Tasmania and their passion for the academic program being undertaken.

Incoming Danish students from our partner universities will be automatically assessed for this scholarship. Students are not required to submit an application.

Amount

The Crown Princess Mary Scholarship will provide the student with $2,000 towards the cost of their studies in Tasmania. It is intended that the successful students will use the scholarship to assist in paying tuition fees at the University or to meet some of the travel or accommodation costs while in Tasmania.
