TQRs:

  • MSW degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of demonstrated work in the area of working with involuntary clients particularly in such settings as clinics, courts, youth protection agencies, and total institutions, from both theoretical and practice perspectives.

Demonstrated practical application of, and/or teaching experience in, the following areas:

  • The key concepts, definitions and perspectives related to working with involuntary clients.
  • The dual role of treatment and control which workers face in their relationship with involuntary clients and the associated balance between one’s helping/therapeutic role and a legalistic/surveillance role.
