 This is an exciting and pivotal role within the School of Education. The duties are varied and involve use of multiple systems, databases, spreadsheets, and online communication tools. This role encompasses a full range of administration and support across the student lifecycle to ensure the delivery of high-quality user-focused services. You will handle enquiries, provide information and advice on university-wide services, policies, and procedures, and undertake administrative support for course teams. 

The successful applicant will possess exceptional organisational and team-working skills, along with an enthusiasm for providing an excellent and professional service. You should have experience of working to deadlines and communicating with a wide variety people, as this role will have daily contact with students, professional and academic colleagues across the University and our partner colleges. This role will work closely with Course Leaders, Associate Deans and the Academic Administration Manager, as well as other members of a busy, friendly team. 

To be successful in this post you should have: 

  • Experience of delivering a broad range customer-focused enquiry and support services. 
  • Experience of carrying out a range of organisational and administrative duties. 
  • Able to produce written communications and documents clearly, concisely, and grammatically correct. 
  • The ability to use Microsoft Office computer programs to a high standard.

 This is a permanent, part-time post.
