We are seeking a go-getter to work in a high-profile, fast-paced environment that is responsible for both governance and secretariat services for the University, Council, and its committees. Additionally providing high-level advice to the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, and members of the Council. 

Reporting to the General Counsel and University Secretary, you will manage and supervise a small team of highly dedicated staff to organise meetings and help prepare agendas, meeting papers and take minutes.

As the Council Governance Manager, your position will drive the smooth operation of the Council and its committees which include annual meeting schedules, secretariat support, and establishing and implementation of good governance practices.

With a focus on stakeholder engagement, you will be working closely with the Chancellor, Deputy Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor to maintain a strong and productive relationship between the Council, the senior management of the University and the relevant Territory, State and Commonwealth government departments.

You will have an opportunity to utilise your well-developed management skills and secretariat expertise. Your keen eye for detail will provide invaluable support and knowledge to this high-profile area.
