£21,135 – £22,254 pa (pro rata for part-time/ term time)

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic team member to join the Catering Department, for a Supervisory vacancy based at City Campus on the basis of 37 hours a week for 42 weeks a year term contract. The Shift Patterns would be 7am to 3pm and 12pm to 8pm and one in every third Saturday 8am to 4pm

The Campus business incorporates student facing facilities, events, and retail outlets.

Previous experience of working within food service and/or hospitality area would be an advantage as well as experience of working in a Coffee Shop or retail environment.

Awareness of good food hygiene practices is essential with Level 2 Hygiene qualification or equivalent required. Previous experience of supervising staff preparing snacks and drinks, together with cash handling responsibilities would be an advantage. A flexible attitude to the needs of the business and to work flexible hours in line with business requirements which includes weekends and evening working is required

The minimum annual leave entitlement starts at 29 days inclusive of the 8 standard UK bank holiday and rises depending on staff group and length of service. In addition to bank holidays, extra concessionary days are also provided each year (a minimum of four) for the extended University closure around some UK public holidays.
