The Role

The Coordinator, Sales Support provides crucial assistance to Wyndham’s sales team and customers, helping enable revenue growth while gaining exposure across all aspects of the end-to-end sales process. Primary responsibilities include supporting sellers by handling activities across the sales process as well as across multiple opportunities. Typical activities range from sales meeting preparation, providing proposal and RFP response support, rate loading, and facilitating contract execution to help secure new business for your assigned sales team. Sales Coordinators often liaise with hotels directly to support RFP responses, address collateral needs, build presentations, and coordinate meeting logistics with prospects and customers. Sales Coordinators also support existing customers by addressing inbound requests and questions related to reporting, invoicing, and activation. The ideal candidate is highly motivated by team success, and collaborates effectively with prospects, customers, hotels, vendors and internal teams to help drive new sales for Wyndham.

What you’ll do

Account & Lead Management / RFP & Rate Loading:

  • Monitor assigned leads, RFPs and hotel responses, to help ensure timely follow-up. Assist follow-up with hotels and accounts when needed to ensure awareness regarding RFP status and pricing

  • Work within Salesforce, CVENT and other systems as needed daily to upload leads, monitor bookings, and handle rate loading

  • Assist sellers with audit requests, and reviewing customer commissions are up-to-date for assigned accounts

Sales & Client Reporting:

  • Leveraging tools including Birst, CVENT, Lanyon, and Salesforce.com reporting, create, analyze and deliver standard reports/dashboards to meet sales management as well as customer reporting requirements

  • Assist Sales Directors and leadership by addressing ad hoc customer and account reporting

  • Support specific sales and customer meetings by providing select reports and dashboards to support meeting objectives

Sales & Customer Engagement Support:

  • Assist with planning, coordination and execution of prospect/customer meetings, sales trips and tradeshows

  • Assist with tradeshow responsibilities, including loading lead information into CVENT

  • Support event performance by sending e-blasts (both pre- and post-show), and tracking attendance and related follow-ups

  • Assist sellers with important account projects, update customer profiles and account plans, and help maintain data accuracy as needed within key systems (e.g., Salesforce.com, etc.)

Technical Acumen:

  • Strong analytical capabilities to build effective reports and dashboards, and conduct trend analysis

  • Technical aptitude including the ability to quickly master tools including Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com, CVENT, Birst, and Lanyon

Required Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelors degree required. Equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant work experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce and other industry-specific sales tools
