Position Summary
The Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University is seeking a Coordinator, Marine Recruitment & Staffing for a full-time opportunity. This position is responsible for: all aspects of recruitment and staffing; payroll, and travel logistics within the OMO. Reconciles: ledger accounts; banking; assists with agent statements for marine operations for the R/V Marcus G. Langseth. Acts as department liaison for Union contract(s) and payment(s). Assists with budget preparation and proposal submissions and works under the direction of the Financial Administrator.
Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and or its equivalent required and 0-2 years of administrative experience.
This position requires demonstrated ability to prioritize, and handle concurrent tasks, manage daily task while also progressing on long-term objectives.
