Position Summary
Responsible for coordinating the maintenance operations as it pertains to the exterior environment and physical assets of the Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine campus located on the Washington University Medical Campus. Inspects the day-to-day condition of grounds, landscaping, irrigation, roads and hardscapes as it relates to campus operations. Monitors new landscape enhancements and exterior improvement projects. Ensures close working relationships with OFMD facilities maintenance staff, contractors and campus partners. Performs a high level of horticultural and land care maintenance services, including irrigation system maintenance. Supports the Civil, Landscape and Grounds Manager in leading the WUSM horticulture and landscaping operations by ensuring the maintenance, installation and horticultural design are consistent with established department standards. Assists and supports the daily maintenance operations of WUSM campus contractors.

Salary Range
$20.15 – $31.26 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one’s qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
