About This Opportunity 

The EAIT Global Experience Program Coordinator supports the development and promotion of a number of EAIT Global Experience Programs, with a particular focus on enriching and broadening educational experience for current and future students. The position will also contribute to additional events and activities designed to raise awareness of EAIT Global Experience Program and to strengthen the EAIT Global Partnership eco-system.

Key responsibilities will include: 

  • Coordinate the delivery of EAIT New Colombo Programs (NCP), including supporting academics in proposal preparation, student logistic management, working with overseas partners to design suitable cultural experience and industry excursions.

  • Coordinate strategic insights of the EAIT Global Experience Program and support the ongoing implementation of the student mobility strategy, including participation on relevant working groups and contributing to identify strategic initiatives.

  • Provide support to the manager and the academic team in new program development in target countries that involves multiple disciplines through a variety of funding channels such as SEED, Erasmus+ Mobility.

  • Provide operational support to Global Experience Program and work with relevant team members to improve systems and process that capture key participation and outcome data.

  • Coordinate marketing and recruitment activities including management of information provision via the web, faculty presentations, and other opportunities to highlight the advantages of participating in an outgoing overseas study experience with the aim of building awareness of EAIT Global Experience Program.

  • Oversee the coordination of ideation and validation EAIT Global Experience programs aimed at expanding the suite of Global Experience offerings at EAIT.

  • Build EAIT Global experience networks within UQ to connect students from various disciplines.

  • Engage and connect EAIT with relevant stakeholders locally and globally.

  • Other related duties as required.

This is a full-time, permanent position at a HEW level 6. The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $84,871.95 – $91,158.90, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $99,300.18 – $106,655.91 annually. 

About You  


  • Completion of an undergraduate degree with subsequent relevant experience; or extensive experience in a relevant area (marketing and communication, client and relationship management, student and academic administration, international student administration) or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

  • High level interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to provide advice, negotiate and liaise with stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

  • Ability to work to objectives with limited guidance either independently or as a member of a small team.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with colleagues.

  • Initiative, flexibility, and willingness to work across a range of activities.

  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise tasks with accuracy and attention to detail.


  • Experience in creating marketing materials by using software package a producing a wide range of communication materials.

  • Experience in working with students and supporting global mobility programs.
