Essential Job Functions

• Cooks and prepares food to specifications and within budgetary limits in a timely and efficient manner
• Utilizes appropriate cleaning procedures for assigned duties so that products are acquired, maintained, and stored according to university policy and health code regulations
• Monitors and checks food production for quality and appropriate temperature, including maintaining temperature log sheets, according to university policy and health regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Experience with cooking in commercial settings or other related experience 
• Obtain and maintain food safety managers certification approved by the Conference for Food Protection
• Obtain and maintain TAPS certification
• Availability to work nights and weekends
