| Job Summary | This position is a non-benefit eligible position that works variable hours as needed. Under the supervision of the Head Chef and Assistant Chef, prepare daily menu items to recipe specifications. Entry-level cooking position supporting cooks and chefs. Provides daily food preparation and work environment sanitation.

| Education/Skills Requirements | Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Cooking experience required, Culinary Degree with accompanying experience preferred. |
| Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents | A valid Driver’s License and the ability to meet the eligibility requirements of the College’s current Motor Vehicle Use Policy. Serve Safe Certification. Other Experience Requirements: Three years experience in kitchen production required. Demonstrated understanding of basic cooking techniques and their application in catering and/or institutional settings. |
| Standard Work Days and Hours | Various shifts available in morning, afternoon, and evening with flexible hours, including weekends. Willing to work with candidates on their availability. Added hourly pay differentials for second shift (10%) and third shift (15%) apply. |
