Control Engineer (m/w/d) AutomotiveOur client is a globally operating and highly successful automotive company, internationally recognized for its innovative and high-quality products. For years, the company has been placing increased emphasis on innovative and future-oriented drive technologies, pioneering the technological shift towards a green future at an early stage. Due to the excellent order situation and continuous growth, we are now seeking an experienced Control Engineer (m/w/d) for the location in Upper Austria.Main Tasks:

• You are leading the establishment of control definitions and diagnostics based on system specifications and client requirements
• You are planning and realizing various engineering activities to develop, integrate and validate controls in the system
• You are responsible that the control system components meets the systems requirements
• You are participating in the initial technical definition of system product lines for RFQs and multi-OEM development programs
• You are launching new product lines in accordance with the innovation roadmap Proof of Concept (POC) methodology
• You are leading the benchmark of potential supplier and screening of control system technology for vehicle applications

Qualification and Experience:

• Qualifications such as Bachelor, Master, PhD or similar from a University, University of Applied Science or other Technical College
• The main focus of your academical studies should be in mechatronics, controls & diagnostic, automotive, electronics & electrical, physics, chemistry, mechanical engineering or equivalent professional experience preferred
• You have already experience in control engineering in the automotive industry
• You have good experience of application engineering in the automotive industry
• Experience in control algorithm or function development is a must have (MATLAB/Simulink)
• You also bring good experience of measurement and calibration techniques and tools
• The main company working language is English. If you are able to speak German would be a nice to have
