Job description

Location: Mansfield, MASalary: Ranging from 120,000USD to 140,000 annualResponsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of the Production System at the plant, ensuring consistency and sustainability across departments.
• Direct and facilitate continuous improvement (CI) activities using lean tools like Kaizen, GEMBA, 5S, and problem-solving to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
• Establish and oversee the KPO and CI Council.
• Implement corrective actions based on production data to improve safety, quality, and productivity.
• Lead key projects related to material flow, site layout, and new product launches.
• Support capital procurement projects and coordinate with operations, engineering, finance, and purchasing teams.
• Serve as the primary Continuous Improvement leader, coaching other sites as needed.
• Train employees in tools and methods to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Finance on capital planning, asset management, and budget alignment with CI initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SQF and ISO standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required; Engineering degree preferred.
• Over 10 years of manufacturing experience.
• At least 5 years in Continuous Improvement (CI) leadership with strong Toyota Production System (TPS) knowledge.
• Led at least 20 Kaizen events.
• Extensive experience in Daily Management processes or structured daily meetings (Tiers 1-4).
• Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of Lean Principles (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, Just-in-Time, 5S).
• Preferred experience with DMAIC tools (e.g., FMEA, MSA, Minitab).
• Experience in packaging, food, or pharmaceutical industries required.
• Available for emergency response outside regular hours, including weekends.
