Contract Duration – 2.5 months

Working arrangement: Remote

TERMS OF REFERENCE

The consultant will review and analyse the study data, identify and document best practices that support exclusive breastfeeding among preterm neonates born at less than 32 weeks of gestation, assess breastfeeding outcomes at the time of initial hospital discharge, and prepare a comprehensive report of the findings from selected Neonatal Units in Sri Lanka.

Minimum requirements:

  • Education: PhD in Public health, statistics or a related field.
  • Work Experience: At least 5 years of work experience. Strong understanding of the Maternal, Newborn healthcare system in Sri Lanka including the Breastfeeding Programme, Newborn care including advance newborn care is expected. Should have at least 5 years of experience in the above fields
  • Skills:
  • Proven experience in analysis of maternal and newborn health data and generation of reports
  • Excellent analytical, writing, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working with Ministry of Health
  • Language Requirements: Excellent spoken and written command of English

Desirables:

Exposure to healthcare systems in advanced settings will be an added advantage.
