Support the acquisition and execution of consulting mandates through research, data analysis, and strategic inputConduct detailed quantitative and qualitative analyses, including market assessments, financial modelling, and regulatory researchCollaborate in projects such as energy mix optimization, infrastructure development (generation, storage, transmission), and energy transition strategies Work on a variety of mandates, including market studies, feasibility studies, due diligence, lender’s advisory and asset optimizationCreate presentations, reports, and decision-making tools for internal and external stakeholders Contribute to business development by identifying trends and opportunities in the energy sectorCollaborate across disciplines with engineers, consultants, and subject matter expertsEnsure smooth project execution by handling multiple workstreams and demonstrating adaptability in a fast-paced environmentParticipate in client meetings and workshops, contributing structured analysis and insightsHelp develop methodologies, tools, and frameworks to continuously improve our consulting servicesContribute to knowledge sharing and continuous team developmentApplication Requirements:
Academic background: Master’s degree or equivalent in engineering, economics/finance, or related field. A mixed academic background is highly valued. Additional qualifications (MBA, PhD) are advantageousExperience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in energy consulting, engineering, investment advisory, or related fieldsProject experience: Familiarity with consulting mandates and interest in building experience in leading complex projectsBusiness acumen: Understanding of market dynamics, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks in the energy sectorProfessional network: Established contacts in the energy sector and motivation to expand them furtherAnalytical mindset: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with proficiency in data analytics and AI – Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written skills in German and English; additional languages (e.g., French, Russian, Spanish) are a plusMobility: Willingness to travel for short to medium-term project assignments internationally Strong collaboration and team spirit in an interdisciplinary and dynamic settingUnser Angebot:A highly entrepreneurial and inspiring environment within an internationally recognized engineering and consulting group
