| Job Summary | Hands on, working supervisor position. The Construction Supervisor position supports the research, teaching, and extension mission of the College of Agriculture, Food & Environment via the maintenance, repair, and construction of research facilities on the University research farms. The Construction Supervisor provides pre-execution design review for proposed projects, performs material takeoffs and cost estimates, obtains permits and schedules inspections as required. Work includes other duties as assigned. Operate trade appropriate equipment & tools. Self-directed continuing education on materials, means, and methods is expected. The University of Kentucky considers the health, safety and well-being of our entire community to be a top priority.
