Our materials make metal extraction more efficient by saving energy, chemicals and water consumption by orders of magnitude. Eventually our technology will power multi-metal refineries for an efficient circular economy of metals.We are currently looking for a Computational biologist (m/f/d) with experience in:

• Protein design, optimization of scaffolds and related analysis

• Programming languages: python, R, bash

Candidates must have a M.Sc. or PhD in (Bio-)informatics or related subjects. If candidates hold a M.Sc. degree, they must have at least 2 years’ experience in relevant topics. We seek a motivated team member who is creative, pays to detail and enjoys working in an interdisciplinary team. Proficiency in the English language is a must.

Responsibilities:

• Perform in silico protein design
• Perform structure-based searches
• Carry out phylogenetic analysis of protein sequences
• Apply cutting-edge computational design tools like RFdiffusion and RoseTTAFold All-Atom
• Document, present and discuss data
• Keep organized and documented codebase
• Participate in scientific discussion and collaborate in the team to find solutions to upcoming scientific challenges
• Support planning of work packages and milestones
