Salary: 15.53 + 4% vacation

POSITION COVERED BY AMUSE-PSAC  BARGAINING UNIT

Under the direction of the Senior IT Security & Technology Analyst, the incumbent assists with various tasks such as providing technical support on alumni social media sites, on the Alumni Website, troubleshooting community member issues and providing additional support to ensure the smooth functioning of the unit.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and responds to alumni requests for assistance, which includes:

    • Assisting with and troubleshooting access requests to Alumni resources

    • Providing guidance, information and how-tos with respect to online Alumni resources

    • Dispatching requests to the appropriate support units when needed

  • Updates templated responses

  • Updates internal knowledge documents

  • Works with colleagues to provide better customer service

  • Assists with testing new solutions for alumni use

Competencies

Solid command of the English language; knowledge of McGill campus and resources; ability to use MS Office Suite and web-based databases.  Assets: organization and time-management skills, intermediate French (written).

High School Diploma 1 Year Related Experience
