Hiring Unit:
University Advancement – Faculty of Science

Position Summary:

  • Update and maintain various information in databases and spreadsheets (donor database, mailing list, etc.).

  • Prepares documents such as electronic letters. Such preparation may include filing and sorting these items.

  • Prepares donor impact reports

  • Performs basic word processing functions such as merge thank letters and prepare large mailings (thank you letters, newsletters) by collating documents and stuffing envelopes.

  • Provides general assistance at donor events.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a computerized office environment, using Adobe Acrobat, Word (including mail merge), Excel, PowerPoint, email, and databases. Demonstrated ability to clearly transmit and receive information.

  • Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail and sense of initiative. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and multi-task.

  • Dynamic and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.

  • English, spoken and written. French, spoken

Experience and Education:

  • Must be full-time McGill student enrolled in a Degree program.

  • Eligible for the Work Study Program in the Fall 2022 term

Minimum Education and Experience:

High School Diploma

Hourly Salary:

(AMUSE A) $15.50
