  • Base Salary $100,032 (HEO 7) + 17% superannuation

About the opportunity

The Communications and Digital Officer is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences SharePoint pages, intranet, and digital channels. Working closely with members of the faculty leadership team and the Head, Operations, the Communications and Digital Officer will assume a key delivery role to ensure the effective planning, production and continuous optimisation of digital content that is both inspiring and engaging, as part of the faculty’s internal communication strategy.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide faculty support for internal digital communications, with a focus on SharePoint and Teams;

  • Promoting the best practice use of SharePoint, optimising the setup and configuration while supporting the faculty to make the best use of available software and systems; and

  • Engaging with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements and developing and implementing solutions.

About you

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Online design and implementation including branding and designing of SharePoint sites.

  • High level skills working with Microsoft 365 applications, in particular SharePoint and Teams.

  • Exceptional engagement and management skills to build close and productive relationships and the ability to take business requirements, user needs and stakeholder inputs into consideration.

  • Strong problem solving and project management skills with the capacity to manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and to meet deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and proactively manage the faculty’s internal digital engagement strategy.
