We offer generous compensation and benefits while fostering opportunities for growth and flexible work schedules when appropriate.Summary for the Commercial Banking Assistant I:Assist the Commercial Lenders by coordinating loan closings, preparing & reviewing loan documents, process commercial loan and line advances, complete loan set-up sheets, establish credit and collateral files, maintain contact with customers, attorneys, title companies and others in the completion of loan documentation and closings.Job Requirements Summary for the Commercial Banking Assistant I:

• One to three years of experience in a clerical or administrative banking environment.
• Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office, word, and excel.
• Excellent customer relations skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, time and work management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle time-sensitive and confidential information.

Job Function for the Commercial Banking Assistant I:

• Prepare in-house loan documentation and review attorney prepared loan documents.
• Research and assist in resolving customer and deposit problems.
• Credit and collateral loan file creation and maintenance.
• Follow-up and assist in resolving loan file deficiencies.
• Help coordinate Commercial Lender loan closing schedules.
• Track and update financial statement tickler.
• Order credit bureau reports, flood certifications and environmental reports.
• Review daily overdraft report.
• Verify corporate status online.
• Request UCC filings and searches.
• Follow-up on insurance coverage.
• Prepare letters and correspondence.
• Comply with all Federal and State banking regulations and all Bank and department policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
