Clinical Trials Statistician

Applications are invited for the role of Clinical Trial Medical Statistician to join our busy Trial Statistics team. We are looking for a highly motivated statistician to work closely and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary project team, to contribute to the design and conduct of clinical trials.

The Primary Care Clinical Trials Unit (PC-CTU), a busy UKCRC accredited CTU, is based within the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at the University of Oxford. The Unit is involved in the design, conduct and analysis of investigator led multi-centred randomised trials, in collaboration with NHS Trusts in both primary and secondary care, to address health issues of major national and international importance.

The role will require an experienced and motivated statistician with fluency of study design, analysis and presentation of statistical trial data. If you have a flexible and positive attitude this will provide an excellent opportunity to work within a friendly multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality research.

The position is fixed-term for 18 months.

You will be based in the Gibson Building, Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences, Radcliffe Observatory Quarter, Woodstock Road, Oxford, OX2 6GG but you may be able to agree a pattern of regular remote working with your line manager.
