Job Summary | Reporting to the Principal Investigator (PI) of the Clinical Trials Network (CTN), and with oversight from the Chief Administrative Officer, CCfV, the CTN Project Manager provides administrative and management support for the entire portfolio of CTN studies, which includes several multi-site clinical trials, both national and international. |

Note | The successful applicant will primarily work remotely, with occasional presence in-person on-campus to meet client needs and operation requirements. Dalhousie’s vaccine mandate has been suspended at this time, and employees no longer need to provide proof of full vaccination. However, health and safety risks to our community will continue to be monitored and a vaccine mandate may be reinstated if necessary. Additionally, as this position is in a clinical academic department based within IWK Health facilities, IWK’s vaccination and other relevant workplace policies will apply. |
Required Qualifications | Undergraduate degree in Nursing with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience within a university research setting, hospital, or comparable environment (or combination of training and experience). Extensive project management experience, as well as experience writing, editing and reviewing protocols and other study-related documents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills. Must be able to write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques. Understanding of Research Ethics, in concept and practice. Demonstrated experience with budget management and reporting oversight. Knowledge of federal, provincial or other private/public funding agencies. |
