Clinical Research Nurse/Practitioner

We are looking to recruit Grade 6 Clinical Research Nurses or experienced practitioners to join our respiratory research team.

The post holders will be responsible for managing and recruiting to respiratory trials being run at the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. This will include being responsible for identification, recruitment, treatment, care and follow up of research patients.

You will be a clinical nurse or practitioner with relevant experience and with excellent communication and organisational skills and a keen attention to detail. You will need to be adaptable, confident and able to prioritise a combination of diverse demands on your time and be able to work autonomously across the Oxford hospital sites.

We are looking for someone who has an interest in respiratory medicine and the research process. Clinical research experience would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be provided. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as is an ability to work flexibly both independently and within a team. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive nurse/practitioner to develop their skills and enhance their career in clinical research.  For interested applicants, there may be an opportunity to develop a specific area of interest and specialist skills or to work towards a higher degree.

We are recruiting for multiple posts. These posts are full-time, but part time can be considered. These posts will be fixed-term for 12 months in the first instance.

Applications for this vacancy are to be made online. You will be required to upload a supporting statement and CV as part of your online application.

Only applications received before 12:00 midday on 18 November 2022 will be considered.
