The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal, Quebec, the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary
We are looking for a motivated candidate to work as a Clinical Research Coordinator. They will need to be able to work alone, under the direction of the immediate supervisor.

General Duties

ROLE:

Facilitate collaboration between the Montreal General Hospital pain center and participating community-based family medicine units. The project aims to enhance the quality of pain care, pain care coordination, and pain education.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate the project between involved units
• Collaborate with project clinical faculty and participate in QI team meetings
• Accomplish administrative/clerical tasks for the project as required by the immediate supervisor.
• Assist in designing and conducting the QI projects, including QI data collection, extraction and analysis, and all data management
• Ensure data and documentation accuracy, and maintain confidentiality.
• Contribute to the preparation of QI project manuscript(s), reports, workshops and presentations.
• Assist in research protocol development and ethics submission, if required

Education / Experience

Education: Diploma of College Studies (DEC)

Work Experience: 6 months minimum. Quality Improvement or research project coordinator related experience.

Required Skills

• Excellent French and English, spoken and written,
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
• Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision,
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Demonstrate good judgment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

Additional information

Status: Temporary, occasional
Pay Scale: $23.80 to $44.19. Commensurate with education and experience
Work Shift: Flexible
Work Site: From home, at the MGH and commuting between several academic units (MUHC / McGill academic units)
