Job Description:

Administers Informed Consent and conducts study interviews with eligible individuals, i.e., parents and children participating in the ABCD study. Supports the safety of participants by monitoring for emergency referrals. Ensures completion of all study forms and protocols. Reviews and edits interviews to ensure compliance with study procedures and integrity of data. Manages the scheduling of all study interviews according to study protocol.
Trains and supervises other staff also conducting ABCD-Social Development interviews.
Interacts with other coordinators in the multisite study nationwide as well as the interviewers on the ABCD project, including attending weekly team meetings.
Provides support as needed to ensure retention of research participants for follow-up interviews.
Manages requests for funds for participant remuneration through the Human Subjects Payments system and logs all payments made.
Tracks study progress for compliance and reporting purposes and meets weekly with PI to review progress.

Expected Salary:

$48,500 – $52,200 commensurate with education, skills, and experience

Minimum Requirements:

Associate’s degree or an allied health professional degree in an appropriate area and one year of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently, coupled with the knowledge of when to seek advice.
Honest, trustworthy, able to think strategically as demonstrated in interview.
Able to manage day-to-day activities while juggling other responsibilities.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Understanding of the importance of confidentiality.
