Clinical Facilitator – PB

Southampton Children’s Hospital Education team are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated nurse who is interested in providing clinical support and education within the clinical environment. The post holder will support learning, competency and practice developed across both registered and non-registered staff and students within the Piam Brown Regional Oncology Unit and across the wider Oncology network in Wessex. The successful candidate will also be expected to deliver training on the regional oncology and chemotherapy courses.

Piam Brown Unit is the Principal Treatment Centre (PCT) for Paediatric Oncology in the South of England taking patients from Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire, West Sussex, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Wight.
The unit consists of a 12 bedded inpatient ward and adjoining day unit within Southampton Children’s Hospital delivering care to children from 0 to 16 years of age.
