With its innovative framework of comprehensive and process oriented solutions, Dedalus Group enables a revolutionary Digital Transformation of country-wide Healthcare Systems cantered around the patient.For our offices in Vienna or Graz we are looking for aClinical Data Scientist (m/f/d)You are responsible for:Analyzing, interpreting, and (automate) labeling large amounts of clinical data (structured and unstructured data, physician notes, nurse notes) and presenting findings in a clear and consistent manner to your team membersResearching and applying machine learning and deep learning on hospital data to develop machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) models for clinical use cases helping with treating the patients of our customersEvaluating the results of the machine learning and natural language processing models.Understanding the functional requirements of our customers, taking part in developing new prediction applications end-to-end, and documenting your accomplishmentsDeveloping solutions based upon best practices shared in the team, methodologies, and state of the art algorithmsYour Profile:EssentialYou hold a master’s degree in biomedical engineering, (medical) computer science, bioinformatics, statistical data analysis, data science, or equivalent disciplineYou had a first experience in programming, ideally in developing machine learning and natural language processing applicationsYou have conceptual knowledge of the software development lifecycle (e.g. unit testing, optimization, scalability, continuous integration, debugging, and documentation)You are a problem solver with an analytical mindYou are eager to learn and curious about the latest trends and developments in data science and the healthcare industryYou have good communication skills and you can translate complex ideas, concepts, and reports into clear presentationsYou are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch (for Belgium) or Spanish (for Malaga) is an assetYou are familiar with analyzing, processing and visualizing data, and with some of the following technologies or techniques: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Jupyter Notebook, Natural language processing using BERT, SpaCy, Hugging Face, LinuxPreferredA strong medical background is an assetKnowledge of French or German is appreciatedSome of the following technologies or techniques: Scrum, SQL, Jira, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWSOur benefits for you:A permanent employment contract for a long-term perspectiveWith your company public transport ticket you arrive relaxed at workFlexible working time, adapting to the personal needs and preferences and home officeModern office in a beautiful locationFree drinks and a weekly fruit basket availableThe minimum salary for this position is 44.500€ gross per year (38.5 working hours) according to the IT-collective agreement, an overpayment plus bonus arrangement depending on qualification/experience is self-evident for us.If you want to be part of our world and future, we’ll take you there.#teamdedalus #together4success #dedalusgroupWe are looking forward receiving your online application!Dedalus HealthCare Ges.m.b.H.Quartier Belvedere CentralGertrude-Fröhlich-Sandner-Straße 1A-1100 Wien
