The College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University is seeking applications for clinical track faculty positions at the rank of assistant/associate professor in the Division of Restorative and Prosthetic Dentistry. The primary responsibilities of this position will be didactic and clinical instruction in the pre-doctoral fixed, removable, and implant prosthodontics curricula. Other duties include research and scholar activity, supporting the overall mission of the division, participating in university and college governance, contributing to the college’s continuing education programs, and practicing in the college’s affiliated intramural Dental Faculty Practice .

Candidates must have a DDS/DMD degree or equivalent degree and a certificate of advanced education in prosthodontics from a CODA-accredited program. They also must be eligible for a regular or limited teaching license by the Ohio State Dental Board. Information on state dental licensure is available at dental.ohio.gov/Licensure/Dentist. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and experience in the application of advanced digital technology in dental education and an MS, PhD, EdD, or other advanced degree. Board certification by the American Board of Prosthodontics is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a desire to create an environment that promotes collegiality, collaboration, and cultural diversity among members of various education, research, and service communities. A willingness to serve as a role model and advocate for the ideals of professionalism and high ethical standards in a health science educational setting is essential.
