Clinical Assistant/Associate/Professor – Periodontics

Working for the University of Alberta School of Dentistry

The School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position in the Discipline of Periodontics.  The position has an anticipated start date of September 1, 2024. 

Responsibilities during the academic year are primarily focused on clinical and didactic teaching at the undergraduate program level.  Research time may be allocated based on the candidate’s research interest and experience. Time may also be allocated to private practice (if applicable).

Applicants will have:

• graduated from an accredited DDS/DMD or equivalent program and have relevant postgraduate and clinical qualifications in the specialty of periodontics;
• a record of demonstrated teaching excellence and clinical skills in the area of periodontics;
• demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Academic rank and salary will be based on the incumbent’s qualifications, experience, and achievements in accordance with the Academic Teaching Staff (ATS) agreement . This is a 3-year Term 12 ATS position.
