We have several cleaning jobs available at our Highfield Campus in Southampton – SO17 1BJ.

The University currently provides an hourly rate of £10.25 per hour.

Working hours: 14.75 hours per week 

(Monday to Thursday 05:30 – 08:30, Friday 05:30 – 08:15)

The role

To undertake individually or as a member of a team the cleaning of designated areas to ensure that they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition.

Cleaning to a specified standard which may include:

• Mop sweeping, damp mopping.
• Suction cleaning.
• Machine buffing/spray cleaning/scrubbing & drying.
• Carpet cleaning (hot water extraction method).
• Interior window panel cleaning.
• Dusting/damp wiping/washing/polish application.
• Sanitary appliance cleaning/fixtures/fittings.
• Replenish toilet requisites.
