Claim Customer Service Representative in United States

Job Summary

Donegal Insurance Group has an opening for a part-time Claim Customer Service Representative (CCSR) in our Claims Service Center. As a member of our Claim Service Center, the CCSR will be responsible for handling inbound calls on new claims, entering claims into the Claim system, assisting callers on existing claims and supporting the Claims Department staff in multiple ways.

The hours for this position are the following:

• 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM Eastern Time

• 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM Central Time

• 12:0 PM – 5:00 PM Mountain Time

  Responsibilities and Duties

• Timely, accurate entry of new claims into our system, including modification of claims data received through direct sources.

• Thoroughly document incoming calls to provide necessary claim details for Office Claim Representatives

• Provide exceptional service to our policyholders and claimants.

• Provide support to the Claims Department, including processing of certain low touch claims and assisting during periods of peak volume.

  Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

• Previous customer service or related work experience

• Excellent telephone and customer skills

• Attention to detail and an ability to adapt to ebbs and flows of incoming work
