EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST – TEACH STUDENTS IN CHINA ONLINE

10 week teaching contract/assignment delivering a level 4 Engineering Course online to an Institute in China

Te Pūkenga/NMIT has co-operation agreements with universities in China where we deliver a variety of programmes. Currently, due to the pandemic we are delivering these courses online. Once travel restrictions are removed it is our intention to teach onsite in China once again.

Due to an unexpected unavailability, we have a teaching assignment starting Monday 10th October.

Course Specific Information:

This is a pre-degree level 4 Civil Engineering Fundamentals course. 

We supply course content and assessments, access to our Moodle teaching platform, Zoom access and backup support services, including mentoring if required.

This course is timetabled and therefore requires a teacher to be available from 1.30pm to 4.30pm (NZ Time) each afternoon Monday to Friday for 10 weeks.

We encourage you to register your interest if you would like the opportunity to teach to China and you:

• Have a qualification or experience in Engineering
• Are a native English speaker or have a degree (or higher) qualification granted in an English-speaking country
• Are motivated, engaged, and passionate about delivering quality teaching and learning
• Can demonstrate cultural intelligence
• Have excellent communication skills and organisation skills
• Are flexible and adaptable with the ability to think on your feet
