This position reports to the Medical Director, Neuroscience.

12 months contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for the medical content of medical education initiatives, ensuring comprehensive, high quality, scientifically correct and consistent non-promotional and balanced information
  • Accountable for the development, implementation, execution and follow-up of all initiatives falling under MedEd responsibilities (education, sponsorships, accreditation, speaker training, etc.)
  • Is abreast of Global offerings with the objective of providing Canadian MEs opportunities to attend Standalones, Preceptorships or other educational initiatives
  • Interface with Medical and Commercial functions of assigned brand(s) to develop and ensure optimal implementation of medical education initiatives through ongoing communications and presence at key meetings (NPM, Brand Team, etc.)
  • Collect, analyze and synthesize medical education information, data, insights and competitive information relevant to the assigned brand, and share with relevant internal customers.

Role Requirements

Essential Requirements:

  • Advanced Science degree (e.g. MSc, PhD, PharmD) with relevant experience in pharma environment with emphasis on training and education
  • Experience: 5 Years +
  • Bilingualism: English and French.
  • Must possess a thorough understanding of the guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry, and ensure compliance with these external as well as internal guidelines: P3, PAAB, IMC
  • Broad understanding and expertise in CHE, Medical Education, Adult Learning Principles, Accreditation and Evaluations.
