The Office of Information Technology has an opening for a full-time University Staff (unclassified) Change Management Associate position.

If the answer to these questions is a resounding yes, then being a Change Manager Associate (CMA) on the Delivery Excellence team may be the place for you!
Our work helps our partners understand the best possible outcomes and solutions. Here are some examples of what a CMA at Anschutz Medical Campus does:
- Ensure that projects meet objectives by increasing adoption and usage of new/improved technology tools, business processes, and organizational structures
- Work closely with departmental and campus leadership, governance structures, and system-wide stakeholders to understand the environment and needs associated with change plans
- Actively plan and implement plans for formalized change management initiatives. Create actionable deliverables for communications, training, sponsorship, and resistance/stakeholder management
- Lead project coordination for change management activity including communications
- Consult and coach project teams on planned changes, and how to manage those changes
- Engage and support senior leaders in their role as sponsors of change by increasing leadership buy-in through information findings and change management knowledge
- Define and measure success metrics for report to the changing organization, as well as into IT Governance for review and lessons learned
- Build and maintain relationships with OCM (Organizational Change Management) peers across the university system contributing to the betterment of the overall OCM practice
What are we looking for?

- Knowledgeable in change management processes and best practices
- Knowledge of project management processes and lifecycle
- The ability to articulate messages to a variety of audiences and who has excellent active listening, presentation, and organizational skills
- Able to navigate a complex political environment, working with people of varying skills and knowledge
- Exemplifies positivity with strong relationship and team-building skills
- Strong analytical skills and exceptional time management capabilities
- Strong skills in translating technical issues and matters to non-technical audiences
Qualifications
We also have a few Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree business, management information systems, or closely related field.
- Substitution: Work experience in the occupational field or specialized subject area of the work assigned to the job may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the degree.
- 1-2 years’ of project management experience – exposure and practical working experience on projects
Required: Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
And would love to see these additional qualifications, but they are not required:
- 1 year of experience in an organizational change management role
- Prior experience in higher education, technology or a related field
- Certification in an applicable field such as project management, change management, technology services/implementation, or business administration

Conditions of Employment:
This position may require some occasional weekend and evening assignments as well as occasional availability during off-hours for participation in both scheduled and unscheduled activities.
This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule of on-site work and working locally remote. The work schedule will be based around core working hours in Colorado Mountain Time.
Must be willing and able to travel between campuses (Denver Campus and Anschutz Medical Campus)

Salary and Benefits:
The salary range (or hiring range ) for this position has been established at $60,000 to $80,000.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range ) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
