Corporate Operations (Co-Ops) supports the University, its Faculties, Schools and Services to identify priorities and assist with the delivery of improvements and change.

 

The Corporate Operations team are looking to recruit a Change and Implementation Coordinator to lead change management activity, across its portfolio, to ensure the successful delivery and roll out of programme and project deliverables and to enhance our approach to change management, both within the service and across the university as a whole.

 

Specifically, the post holder will:

  • Support the project managers with the successful delivery of change in line with the university strategy.
  • Lead change management activity – such as stakeholder identification/ analysis, facilitating workshops, focus groups and other engagement activities – to support the successful implementation of projects.
  • Lead on requirements gathering, engaging with project stakeholders across the university at all levels, facilitating workshops to ensure there are definitive, documented requirements for deliverables.
  • Lead on business analysis activity across the Corporate Operations portfolio of projects and liaise with business analysis colleagues in Learning and Information Services to inform effective change.
  • Support project managers to transition project deliverables into Business As Usual (BAU), with a focus on working with the business, as projects close, to support effective handover.
  • Work with the project managers to ensure post implementation reviews are scheduled and benefits realisation plans are in place, with responsibility for undertaking the post implementation review.

 

Applicants will have experience of working in a project or change environment and working across multiple activities simultaneously. The successful candidate will have GCSE English and Maths or equivalent and a good honours degree or equivalent experiential learning. They will have excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills as well as analytical, data analysis and problem solving skills. A key aspect of the role will be ensuring change is managed effectively to ensure that project deliverables are embedded within business as usual so that the intended benefits of the project are realised.
