Position Summary

CHHA NEEDED! Hourly shifts, Weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Certified Home Health Aids needed for in-home senior care.

Job Responsibilities

· Companionship
· Light housekeeping
· Meal Preparation
· Medication reminders
· Errands
· Assistance to & from appointments
· Activities of Daily Living such as dressing, grooming, incontinence care and feeding seniors
· Specialized care such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care

Qualifications

*Qualified candidates must have a CHHA certification that is in good standing with the NJ Board of Nursing*

Dementia Experience A PLUS

Must Haves:

Ability to treat and care for seniors and special needs clients with dignity and respect.

Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.

Complete a criminal background check, DMV check and drug screen

Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance

Must have a current physical (within the past calendar year)

Tuberculosis screening test.
Dementia Experience A PLUS

In-home Shift Available: MONDAY TO SUNDAY 8:00am – 4:00pm OR 9:00 – 5:00PM; other various shifts available in our service area. Shrewsbury, Little Silver, Freehold, Red Bank, Long Branch, Monmouth Beach, Rumson, Tinton Falls, Holmdel, Spring Lake and all of Greater Monmouth County.

Home Instead is looking to hire compassionate, dependable, respectful, patient caregivers. Preparing light meals, light housekeeping, oversight and supervision of the senior to ensure safety. Caregivers will assist with daily living tasks so the senior can remain in their home, Candidates must be reliable, caring & compassionate.

Flexibility! We work with you to set your schedule. Competitive hourly rates starting at $16/hour with increases depending on specific shifts needs
