An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the UK Centre for Climate Change and Social Transformations (CAST). CAST is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Centre Manager, to be based within the hub team at the University of Bath.
About the role
The Centre Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Centre and work closely with the Centre Director and Deputy Directors, Executive Group, Communications & Engagement Officer and Centre Administrator to coordinate and deliver the Centre’s exciting programme of world-leading research and engagement. This will involve liaising with academic, managerial and administrative staff across CAST and with representatives of external organisations in the private, charity and government sectors.
The ESRC-funded Centre for Climate Change & Social Transformations (CAST) is a collaborative venture between the University of Bath, Cardiff University, University of East Anglia, University of Manchester, York University, and the charity Climate Outreach. It also involves close collaborations with multiple partner organisations from government, business and third sector, as well as international academic collaborators.
This post is part time (17.5 hours per week), available from December 2022 and fixed term until 30th April 2024. Working days can be flexible.
