About the role

Based at our Mt Helen Campus, the Centre Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the centre, working with the Coordinator, Children’s Centres who oversees the operation of all three centres.

You will:

  • actively liaise with stakeholders, services and networks to ensure the provision of a quality service for children, and families of the centre;
  • provide support supervision, guidance and management of staff;
  • respond to enquires to orientate, enroll and maintain bookings of childcare and kindergarten places;
  • ensure programs are managed in accordance with funding requirements, meeting government regulations, contractual obligations and National Quality Standard.

About you

You will have knowledge of education and care programs as required under the National Quality Standard combined with experience planning, organisational, financial and administrative skills ensuring efficient use of resources. In addition to your communication and interpersonal skills, you will also contribute to the adherence to all legislative reporting requirements.

You will possess:

  • Demonstrated understanding of the Education and Care Services National Regulations, the National Quality Standard, the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) and the National Early Year Learning Framework (EYLF);
  • planning, organisational, financial and administrative skills to ensure efficient use of resources;
  • ability to contribute to the adherence to all legislative reporting requirements; and
  • communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution skills.
