The Role:
This position will work with staff in Digital Services to utilise Deakin’s software, purchasing and contract records, with the aim of uplifting Deakin’s software asset management data posture.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Experience working with data in an environment such as Microsoft Excel.
- A mindset for thoroughness and precision.
- The ability to work through multiple sources of information to assemble a complete picture.
- This role requires the incumbent to apply for and maintain a Working with Children Check (refer to Deakin’s Recruitment Procedure for further details).
Your key responsiblities will be to:
- Perform audits of Service Now software data (product, model and entitlement records) to ensure accuracy.
- Research and fill missing Service Now entitlement and model fields based on data from other sources.
- Identify and update Business Owner for software records in Service Now.
- Create Software Entitlement records in Service Now to reflect Deakin’s license state.
- Create documentation (e.g. standards) and work instructions based on the above work.
