| Job Summary | The Samuel Ginn College of Engineering’s Office of Career Development and Corporate Relations (CDCR) seeks candidates for a Career Counselor. The mission of the CDCR is to equip and empower engineering students to discover, develop, and launch professional experiences and purposeful careers. This position will coach students and alumni concerning the discovery of career interests, seeking and securing experiential and professional opportunities, and navigating the transition from college to career. Provides career coaching for engineering students and collaborates with team members to develop new programs and initiatives in support of student professional development. Implementation of these programs will involve coordinating, organizing, and presenting at programs, workshops, and other events, and working closely with staff and corporations. Experience with career assessment tools and interpretation (i.e. Myers Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, Clifton Strengths ) Experience in providing career counseling and planning services or advising, student data collection and interpretation, career-related CSM (client management system) |
