Job Title:FINANCE SYSTEMS FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT

JOB SUMMARY:

The FINANCE SYSTEMS FUNCTIONAL SUPPORT, also known as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) or Power User, is an individual with advanced knowledge and expertise in Finance. This role operates at the Tier 2 support level, focusing on the operational use of Oracle Financial Applications. The position supports strategy execution, ensures process compliance, and provides expert-level assistance to end users while partnering with Oracle technology teams to deliver operational excellence.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process Execution & Compliance

• Support the execution of strategies defined by the Finance Global Process Owner.
• Understand and apply detailed requirements, policies, and practices within Finance to ensure process compliance across the organization.

Deployment & Training

• Provide Tier 2 support for end-users, addressing specific questions, issues, and requests related to Oracle Financial Applications.
• Guide users through steps to solve problems with the use of system functionalities, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.

Technology Partnership & Continuous Improvement

• Work with Oracle Technology teams to define and operate end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new processes and releases.
• Identify and escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-tier technical support.
• Monitor performance, results, and trends within the finance functional area and suggest continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
– 2–4 years of professional experience in a Finance role.
– Strong organizational and time management skills.
– Strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and finance systems (SAP, PeopleSoft).
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
– Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with both business and technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Advanced coursework or certification in Finance, Accounting, or Oracle Financial Systems.
– Previous experience with Oracle Financial ERP Systems.
