About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Campaign Fundraising Manager to contribute to the delivery of the University’s overall fundraising and campaign goals and grow the University’s active engagement with its local, national and international donors. Acting under broad direction, key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop donor acquisition, retention and moves management campaigns, including the review and analysis of patterns of giving, to support planning and decision making, and using best fundraising practice to generate a positive donor target response.
  • Project manage and implement campaigns end-to-end, to deliver financial and non-financial targets, including optimising donor acquisition / retention and return on investment, including reviewing and reporting on effectiveness and recommendations to guide future planning.
  • Liaise with internal and external agencies to deliver campaigns on time and within budget constraints.
  • Act as an internal consultant to plan and deliver campaigns in conjunction with relevant university project teams, Advancement Managers, Advancement Services, the Alumni Engagement Team plus senior staff from Academic Groups.
  • Manage the delivery of the Brighter Futures Scholarship Program, including overseeing the engagement with Scholarship recipients to provide value add experiences to their scholarship.

This is a continuing, full time position, based at our Nathan or Gold Coast campus. .

About you
You will be highly organised, detail orientated and able to work independently under the broad direction of the Deputy Director Advancement. You will have experience of developing and implementing successful campaigns and initiatives in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders incorporating knowledge of the latest trends and research.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter and skilled at initiating, developing and maintaining high level relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders, and delivering against KPIs.

You also will have highly developed organisational and administrative skills including the ability prioritise and meet shared goals and deadlines, whilst adhering to policy, procedure and guidelines.

Salary range

The base salary for a HEW Level 8 is in the range $100,567 – $113,136 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. The total package is in the range $117,664 – $132,369 per annum.
