A.) Financial Capacity Assessment
· To assess the financial management and internal control systems of:
Ø Warsan Relief Organization (WARSAN), Head Offices (Hargeisa, Somaliland)
B) Financial Review (sample-based)
To conduct a voucher audit (financial review) on a sample basis of the Building resilience for drought-affected pastoralist and agropastoralist communities project (A-SOM-2022-3113) for May 2024 – April 2025. The focus of the financial review is to get an assurance of the proper use of the funds in accordance with the agreement of cooperation, the letter of approval, and the approved budget.
C) Verifying/Follow-up implementation of a plan of action of the WARSAN as per recommendations of a consultancy firm on a financial capacity assessment finding (one-time follow-up assessment)
Minimum Qualifications:
Ø Language skills: English for reporting
Ø Renewed Business license (as Financial Consultancy or Audit Firm)
Ø Professional license (as Financial Consultancy or Audit Firm)
Ø Chartered Accountants registration certificate
Ø Tax Identification/Tax Payer Certificate
Ø Value Added Tax (VAT) Certificate (if any)
Ø Experience in auditing and financial consultancy of NGOs (Local and International)
Note: Minimum experience is five (5) years and above.
