Can you make a positive contribution to our team? We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the Student Fees and Funding Team, within the Academic Registry.
The successful applicant will provide an expert customer focused support service to students, sponsors, student finance, the Student Loan Company and the wider University in relation to student records, tuition fees, student finance, student registration and attendance returns, change of circumstances and bursary information.
The successful applicant will have demonstrable experience of current administrative/clerical practices in a busy office environment and experience of customer service, organising, updating and maintaining accurate computerised records and files. An ability to organise and present information both verbally and in writing is required along with experience of working in an environment with a high degree of customer contact. You will work closely with other members of the administrative and academic team, as required.
The successful applicant will also have a range of GCSEs, including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above, or appropriate equivalent experiential learning, a word processing/typing/IT qualification or demonstrable equivalent experiential learning and the ability to work consistently under pressure, prioritise work and meet deadlines. A collaborative approach to working and a commitment to continuous improvement is also an essential component of the role.
